Changes Njambi Atema – zang Rik Dijkman – piano Martijn Derrix – contrabas Mathijs Arts – drums Changes stands for original compositions and passionate performances. The band was formed by pianoplayer Rik Dijkman and double bassplayer Martijn Derrix in 2002. Drummer Mathijs Arts joined them soon after and as a trio they recorded their debut album 'Discussions'. To change their musical course the bandmembers searched and found Njambi Atema. '2nd Chance' was born as well as their motto: 'Groovy, funky, samba, swing.... jazz in the broadest sense of the word.'
